Paradise Kiss is a popular manga, written, and illustrated by Ai Yazawa. It was serialized in the fashion magazine, Zipper from 1999 to 2003.
Shodensha published the Japanese editions. Tokyopop published the English editions with alternate covers, until they dissolved in 2011. Vertical Inc. recently republished the ParaKiss manga in English into three volumes. The first was published on September 25, 2012[1], volume two was released on December 11, 2012[2], and the third on March 5, 2013[3].
Paradise Kiss is also closely related to Gokinjo Monogatari, a previous work of Ai Yazawa's. Many characters from it appear or are mentioned, such as Mikako Kouda, Tsutomu Yamaguchi, and Seiji Kisaragi.
