Hiroyuki Tokumori (徳森浩行 Tokumori Hiroyuki) is one of Yukari Hayasaka's handsome and intelligent prodigy classmates who is the object of Yukari's affections at the beginning of the story.
Hiroyuki was once in love with Miwako Sakurada, but Arashi Nagase forbade her from seeing him due to the fact that Miwako chose Arashi. Hiroyuki gives advice to Arashi on how to come to terms with his feelings for Miwako and his past actions and soon after the three of them mend their friendship. Hiroyuki is at the top of the class and aspires to become a physician. He eventually falls for Yukari, who foolishly assumed that a guy like him would never show interest in her. In the manga, Hiroyuki expresses his frustration at always being second-place in anything but academic, referring to Miwako choosing Arashi and to Yukari being in love with Jōji Koizumi, Hiroyuki doesn't have luck when it comes to love.
Personal Story[]
Hiroyuki was once childhood friends with Miwako Sakurada and Arashi Nagase, but he lost contact with Miwako as she has chosen Arashi.
After Yukari Hayasaka broke up with Jōji Koizumi, she and Hiroyuki are shown to be engaged in the epilogue.

- Hiroyuki's surname Tokumori means "virtue, ethics" (徳) (toku) and "forest" (森) (mori).
- In the first chapter of the manga, Hiroyuki thinks Yukari Hayasaka is hot.
- Hiroyuki was first in love with Miwako Sakurada, but he got over her and moved on.
- Hiroyuki is the son of Hiroaki Tokumori ("Toku-chan"), a character in Gokinijo Monogatari.
